Fonts from the MOMA Museum
At the Kwartał Uniwersytecki project, on the walls of the common areas, there will appear 8 typefaces most widely recognised in the history of typography from the Renaissance through the Baroque, Classicism and the 19th century to the modern times. Caring for each detail of the project, including the appearance of the common areas, we will provide corridors in buildings with the fragments of letters created over the centuries, which underline the character of the simple, functional and timeless project. Typefaces are a part of the collection of the MOMA Museum.
The following are the authors of the typefaces: Garamond - Claude Garamond (1541), Baskerville - John Baskerville (1757), Bodoni - Giamabattista Bodoni (1770), Century - Linn Boyd Morris Fuller (1894-1923), Futura - Paul Renner (1927), Frutiger – Adrian Fritiger (1975), Helvetica - Max Miedinger (1957), Din - Albert-Jan Pool (1995-2009).
